Flowers, Gardens, and a REALLY Big Photo Post........

At Walter Reed this spring...

Then there would be what the girls call the "Jewish Garden" off the 5th floor at Walter Reed.  They call it the "Jewish Garden" because the fountain is shaped like a star of David.  It's so peaceful....

Happy Birthday Cait.!!!!

15 days LATE!!!  Her birthday was June 3rd.......



This was taken when we lived in Scotland, Cait was about 5 months old.......She was just such a sweet baby!!









The above shots were taken at Red Robin when I took Elly and Cait to get their free birthday burger.  Needless to say they were havin' a blast goofin' off!

It's soooo hard to believe I am the mother of a 15 year old!  It has gone sooo fast!!  I am sooo very blessed to be her mom.  She is growing into such a fascinating young woman....the transformation is amazing to watch!  She's very bright,  an amazing artist, our in house techie guru, can do math, but hates it.  Actually, school, according to her, she could do without, but she loves to read, Sherlock Holmes is a fave, and is a cross between  tomboy and girly, always a fascinating mix on any given day.  I feel so privileged to have this enchanting woman/child as my daughter!!  Thank you Lord, for Caitlin, may You continue to mold her heart, and continue to draw her to Yourself.  Happy Birthday Cait!!!  I love you!!!!

Caught In The Act......

 












One of the girls, who shall remain nameless, ahem.......broke a pane of glass in the front door so we have a piece of cardboard taped up there until we can get a new pane installed.  Well, Sam has figured out how to take down the cardboard and chat with his sisters when they're playing in the front yard. Ok, it sounds more like very loud coaching....but.....anyhow...  We tell him "No!" but, gosh, he's just soooo cute, so I covertly took some shots of the little operator in action, before I did the correcting.........too funny......ok, well, it shouldn't be, but secretly, it is!!!!

Clara and Sam had a blast playin' in the garden.......Sam seems to ascribe to the "When you walk loudly you don't need a big stick, but it makes life ever so much fun!!!" school of thought.......let me tell ya, every inch a BOY......don't ya just love it???
